How about server-side mathML support in the new forums? Would be very useful for the math and physics forum

I''m not sure, but I think it would mean having the server automatically generate images for equations/formulae on demand, based on markup, wouldn''t it?

It''s the browser''s job to do the rendering of the formulas.

As far as I know, MathML requires no server support (though it requires being in a valid XHTML page). Read about it here and here.

But how many browsers actually support it?

I think that to be generally viewable, it would have to be server-side.

If it''s server-side, it''s not MathML. (As far as I know of course).
