Hello, I have been trying to find those kinds of games where you are either a space ship or an airplane, and you are shooting all of the enimies as they come by, normally the screen scrolls up/down or left/right. You normally get ''power-ups'', new weapons, and/or new ships. Does anyone know of some good free games that are like this that I can download? I''ve been dying to download some like this, but I cant find any. Thanks very much! Dwiel

Look for Highway Hunter and Drone, two great games in that genre. There''s another one I''m thinking of, made by ''Homebrew Software'' (they also made a title called StarHammer), but I can''t remember its name.

Raptor is only shareware, but it''s really good anyway.

I am having trouble finding either of those games... I did find something that looks like homebrew software

I downloaded Highway Hunter, but even on the super slow setting, everything whizes right by... looks like they didnt think computers would ever get as fast as mine (950mhz) ;P

and drone looks like it doesnt even have a free trial anywhere

Raptor looks a little more promissing... installing right now

There is one called "Project Starfighter". One of my favorite games.
