This is a simple pattern recognition thread. There's only two simple rules: 1) the pattern has to be recognizible without the help of anything but your brain 2) the pattern has to be in the form of a string Basically, all you have to do, is decipher what is written and a) post the deciphered text, and b) a short description of the pattern (how you deciphered it). Hints are never misleading, but can be incomplete.
Pattern I Rgua ua aunokw wz'nokw Hint: visual cues (keyboard)
Pattern II yn3do.o.9l 2s9l4fo.ec Hint: two characters per letter in deciphered text (except for whitespaces)
Break 'em and get a cookie. And, of course, post your own! edit: mistake in pat 2

rotfl! How you can tell teh Sunandshadow is an artist rather than a programmer: I saw ''pattern in the form of a string'' and immediately thought we were going to be taking a piece of string and arranging it into shapes like a cat''s cradle. o.O
I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.

OK, I'll give a puzzle

Series 1 starts...
3
5
11
17
31
41
59
67
89
...and goes on forever

Series 2 starts...
3
5
11
17
...and goes on forever

What are the first 2 numbers in the next series following the above pattern? (OK, I didn't follow the rules exactly I just don't feel like doing a string pattern... make the numbers into a string and voila you have a string pattern )

I just realised - keyboard-layout-based ciphering is bad since most people here have different keyboards...

Senses: those are sequences of primes. I do not understand your question, but I''d say the first two numbers in the following pattern are 3 and 5.

Here''s another sequence to crack:

10293847..

Fill in the dots.

And another (classic) puzzle:

1888*1888=1

How?

what no discussion of the two kinds of patters? Those manifest and those imposed? Can we also have a discussion on the nature of self evident truths? =D

I''m not sure how to answer your question based on your grammar. I''ll assume you meant "Is the next series following the same pattern as the first" or "Are the first 2 numbers in the next series following the pattern in the series above it"

Yes.

next:

101
113
131
151

although series 2 might only follow fibonacci.

...

try:

3, 9, 25, 65, 161, 385, ...

or

6, 28, 496, 8128, 33550336 ...

No, fibonacci is: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34...
11 and 17 are not included...

---------------------------

Here a fun one that sticks with the stringiness of the orinigal post. (I like strings...more fun)

ejapmbbdh

This one is fairly easy, if someone gets it I'll have to wip out some really fun ones.

Yes, I do realize that.. now apply that to his second series and see what you get.
