Hi, in a windows console i type : myProg < myFile.in (redirection) it run. In a program I use the system() function. system("myprog < myFile.in"); it does not work, why ? if i make : system("cd folder"); system("dir"); does it list the files in "folder" ? thanks

I don''t know if UI''m just an idiot but that made no sense to me what so ever. Be more descriptive of your problem.

IIRC, system() doesn''t actually make the console run the command (on windows anyway, not sure on linux) so you can''t use console operators like < > >> or |
