QBasic problems...

I have some problems while running QBasic. I have Qbasic 4.5 version and Win XP-Pro. I formated my disk a few days ago. Before I formated it QBasic worked perfectly, but now, when I formated it it still works but I have big problems with it. All the keys (letters) are messed up and I can''t write anything. Not only letters, ALL keys - Enter, Space, Backspace, Tab, +, -, .....etc, ALL! Please can you help me how to solve and fix this problem. Thanks! Nebo

Maybe your keyboard settings is messed up.

But all keys are ok when I am writing in Word or anywhere else (here too). But they are only messed up while I am trying to write something in QBasic. How can I change that keyboard settings if that will help me?

You needa move on, QBASIC isnt worth shit. Try C.

Can you type stuff into a DOS box all right, or is it messed up there too?

I''ve seen people do more impressive things in qbasic than you can shake a stick at, I suggest you shut your mouth if you don''t have anything interesting to add. He wasn''t aking for your (worthless and wrong) opinion on Qbasic but How to sort out his keyboard problems in it.

vnebojsa -> That might be a problem solved by one of microsofts many service packs/patches, I suggest running windows update, it might do the trick.

furby100 - I can write in Command Prompt and MS-DOS, there are no any problems with keys and letters. Only problem is in QBasic.
