Avi in DDraw

I want to create several avi-files and one play in left part another in right part of fullscreen window created with DDraw. Is it possible? if it is, how to implement?

You should look at Direct Show, specifically the SampleVid sample in the SDK, this should help you out. But it is no quick fix and might take a bit of effort. Also search on gamedev articles, there is a AVI file tutorial somewhere.
