Game writer

There are two main things you''re missing in this post:

1) A portfolio or an example of your work or an offer to show people an example of your work. No one will want to even waste their time on you if have no way to show them if you''re worth the time they''re wasting.

2) Grammar. Who wants to waste time on a writer who can''t even use correct grammar for what should be three sentences?

Why would Gamewriter01 want to send you anything he''s written? Are you making a game, are you a programmer, do you have a team? Do you have a website or examples of your work? Or should he blindly send you examples of his work when he doesn''t know if you''re going to rip off his work or use it as his own?

If by gamewriter you mean coder then please visit the link in my Sig. I need some mild C++ work that involves 2 DLLs and a 150 line "server" application. (seriously 150 lines of code or less. It just listens for a ping =). )

If by game writer you mean concept designer then I might suggest you perhaps post some of your achievements so people will know what kind of game design you are wanting to do.

Not only do you post a 2-line message without references, your English is.. odd. The spelling is tolerable (if bad), but your grammar is nonexistent. A writer would need to know English.

It''s quite amazing how many people are intolerant of others'' spelling and grammar and are only too quick to point it out, yet they themselves fail to recognize that they too lack in the same areas. It appears that every poster so far in this thread which brings grammar or spelling to the table is hypocritical and ignorant.

How very peculiar.

If you’re offering your services as a writer and demonstrate poor use of spelling and grammar, then you can expect that to be pointed out. I don’t see that it matters if the criticism comes from someone using equally bad spelling or grammar.

That post is not very helpful either.

I suggest write a sample review for a game that you play. Then, make a post with your sample review attached and your previous experiances.
Also, if your going to review a game make it atleast something that the reader would know of the top of his/her head (half-life, socom, etc...)
