Morning all!! Hmmmm .... I know this should be in the ''Software Engineering'' forum, but as there''s more users in this forum, I''ll think I''ll try it here!! Bit of a "Design Pattern" query : Does anyone know what a ''controller'' or ''manager'' is? What the difference is between them? And what they can be used for (in terms of AI and animation)? Ta Dan

through a controller you can reach the functionality of the objects (not the individual methods, but the ones applied on each or a group of objects). manager is rather used for objects that only manage the life cycle of the objects (storage) and thing Kylotan said...
but you shouldnt worry about naming conventions.
