I''m guessing the OpenGL libraries/headers that I have are out of date now. Where can I download the latest opengl libraries and headers (include glext.h and wglext.h). Thanks

Ok, I found em eventually. But the page where I got em says that you can find which version of OpenGL you have by looking in the gl.h header. I looked, and it says Version 1.1. Isn''t there version 1.5 out there somewhere?

The thing is that, on Windows, having headers above version 1.1 is useless because Microsoft never bothered to update the OpenGL library for windows. It''s still possible to use the new features, you just have to get the fuction pointers through WGL. ATI''s OpenGL devkit (available free from their website) takes care of that part for you, as does benjamin bunny''s GLEE library.

You need the three files available here in order to use the OpenGL extensions (though I''m not sure if those are the most recent). You DO NOT need the libraries, as your video drivers will include them (as they''re different for each video card). And yes, GLEE is very useful for using extensions.
