Hey I am looking for some satellite images of a rocky area or hilly area. I would like to create a 3d world based on it and then make it photrealistic. NE1 know where I could lok for images? dual 867 g4, 1GB RAM, dual video cards, dual dvd burners, n dual hds. My das always be prepared.

Do a search for DEM and follow the links. Public data is in the gigs, but you can easily purchase the entires US (1 pixel = 1 meter). But I doubt you will ever have the $$$ or the HD space .

And you will need software to adjust the curvature so you can map it properly, unless you just want a small section.

Since "The War on Terror", a lot of data has been reduced to 1 pixel = 3 to 5 meters...
