Sharp GX10

I''m trying to work on a Sharp version of my game and i want to compile usig the sharp classes! I have downloaded the Vodaphone Pack and got everything. Do any of you know what the .jar or .zip i have to link to ? For Siemens it is called api.jar set classpath=c:\siemens\smtk\emulators\m55\lib\api.jar What is the file called for the Sharp GX10 ? Thanks. Also has anybody done anything for the Sharp yet and how did you find working on this phone? Brian

Hi!

I have not tried it, but looking at the installation i think it is \emulators\Generic_VSCL\lib\classes.zip

I use:
sharp\gx10\VSCL StarterKit_20020717\classes\stubclasses.zip
and use one of the nokia preverifiers.

Skizz why do you use stubclasses and not classes.zip

Should i set my classpath to stubclasses or classes to compile do you think??

All i want to do i play a few sounds(has to be .mmf as i dont think mid are supported by this phone)

Why stubclasses.zip? It works. There was a reason, can''t remember now what it was, but it was a darn good one!

Hi,

I will go with stubclasses then!!

I also got a usb connection cable for the GX10.
Is there a way to copy across jars using this or is there some special software needed to be used in conjunction with the cable?
If yes, what is it called?

I use Sharp''s LibDownloader program. It''s a bit of a pain to use (no surprise there then). Requires a password to access the phone''s data though, but it could be the same for all phones.

Where can i get my filty paws on a copy of Libdownloader or similar prog?

I got the program from IOMO when I was developing Monopoly for them. Where they got it from, I've no idea. I'll be seeing them shortly as they want GX20/30 versions, so I could ask them where to get it from.

Other than that, I could e-mail/ftp you a zip of the executable I use (I don't think I've got an installer for it).
