Whats a good game that is <$40 that is sorta similar to StarCraft? I like starCraft but it sometimes gets boring. I already have HL CS DoD and all that stuff but sometimes im not in the mood for a first-person shoot. Warcraft 3 FT

I dunno if its less than $30 now, but couple of months back I got it for $40 CND (canadian).

edit: sorry, you need the original to play it, I dont kno how much that is now, I used my brother's

And I forgot to mention, Myth2 is made by Bungie (of Halo fame), but avoid Myth3 at all costs. It was sold to someone else so they could crap on the franchise.

Command and Conquer: Generals + any one of the StarCraft mods out there.

Don''t forget to add the mod, because the game is pretty weak on its own.

C&C Red Alert 2 - still the best RTS ever. Especially if you hate turtling games ^o^

Heroes of Might & Magic 3 is a TBS but it''s badass enough that you''ll like it anyway.

Total Annihilation! Not sure if you can find it anywhere anymore though. Best RTS ever.

I recommened Heroes of Might and Magic also, I''ve never played 3, but I have 2 and it is really good.

XCom fans should give Laser Squad Nemesis a try - it''s made by the same people - download it quickly from lasersquadnemesis.com and play it online through e-mail. Outstanding game.

And yes, I was going to say Total Annihilation too.
