Hello, I''m doing a little project in school, a karate game. I''m having a little problem with animations though... What programs you (recommend) guys and girls use to make 2d animations (don''t mind 3d, but the game will be 2d)? What would be the best way to make those graphics since I''ve been thinking of a program that you could just drag from certain points of a skeleton and adjust the position in each frame... Am I asking too much? Thank You and sorry for my bad english =)
Hey,
Honestly, if by "school" you mean senior school, any 3D program will be extremely difficult to teach students. I say this as a student myself with a good 3d knowledge. In my opinion you should definately stick to a strictly 2D application. In my experience, Jasc. Animation Shop is very user friendly and you can draw straight into the animation frames or import from other sources. It isnt particularly cheap but if you can find some sort of equivalent for free (which is quite possible) it should suit your needs.
Best of luck.
Ant
