What if the Universe is simply a computerized environment? If this is true then what if humans became skilled enough we could hack into the code and alter it any way we liked. After seeing the Matrix I have been thinking hard about this possibility and wondering- What if it''s true? My theory says that if every single particle of matter and energy in the Universe is completely stationary time is frozen. I call it The Theory of Discontinuous Time.
My other theory:My other theory says that if every single particle of matter and energy in the Universe is completely stationary, time is frozen. I call it "The Theory of Discontinuous Time".

I call it the "Wachowski Theory".

I just watched The Thirteenth Floor last night. Similar idea to The Matrix, except when you unplug, your avatar stays behind to do mundane things. That, and you might just be an avatar yourself. Go watch it, it''s best explained by watching.

As for "Hacking the Code of the Universe," I personally wouldn''t touch it. Just think how much wetware you''d crash if you got it wrong. Hmm, wonder if there''s a Safe Mode, or better still, a scripting language.

well if the matrix really did exist that would explain if there was a god or not. A computer how delightful
I wish there was a button on my monitor to turn up the intellegince. Theres a button called 'brightness' but it doesn't work

Uhh, that last response was from me I forgot to include my username.

Watch The Matrix again, especially the first lines of the credits, and you might catch the "Wachowski" reference.

Two atoms in space. Picture it and nothing else. They gravitate towards each other and are thus not stationary. Let''s say instead they orbit each other and don''t gravitate towards each other. But they are still not stationary.

Complexity prevents a deep freeze maybe? Gravity and time are related. Relativity...

Since we''re talking that weird theory stuff here...can somebody explain to me what gravity exactly is? Where does it come from? Does mass and/or rotation have anything to do with it?

Show me your witz

I am NOT an expert on this but gravity is the distortion of time and space by matter. You can''t think of space by itself and justify gravity. You have to incorporate time into the equation somehow.

Matter displaces time and space and thus distorts it in such a way that a straight line is transformed into an orbit or fall towards the matter.

It''s something to do with the concept that space isn''t really ''empty'' but rather is a distortable material that we don''t entirely understand.

Actually The Matrix doesn''t really resolve who God is because in the movie humans created the computers which just tricked us into thinking that the world is like it is now.

It doesn''t actually explain what created humans in the 1st place

At least I think I''m right about this...

Time is invented by man, you really cant relate it to natural phenomena like energy and matter.

How about the idea that going faster than light, will give time travel...total bullshit if you ask me!

Light particles can''t travel at a 100% perfect constant speed...imagine a particle going faster for a moment...will it do time travel...nope...

Actually I do believe that the basis of the Relativity theory was that the speed of light in vacum is constant (experimentally proven, I think), and that that''s the fastes speed anything might reach.

I just thought I''d mention that cause I really don''t think thee is a god. Until there is some kind of physcial proof...I well not believe

Uhh, I would just like to say that going faster than light could allow time travel because I heard that scientists were able to slightly increase the speed of light so that it arrived at its destination before it left. Hmm, I don''t blame how doesn''t understand this. I don''t either. I just thought I would post this.

well if the matrix is true then would u take the blue pill or the red pill?

also gravity is a derivative from the law of gravity which is this formula

f=G m1m2/r*r

where m1 and m2 are the mass of 2 planets G is the universal gravitational constant and r is the distance from the center of one planet to the other center
