Ok, I've had transparency problems almost ever since I started using DirectX, and that was about a year ago. Every game I make, some of the graphics work great, and some of them are troublesome. I don't know how to explain it that well, so check out my link:
NOTE BEFORE CHECKING OUT THE LINK:
The top picture is a screen shot of my game. The bottom picture is the PNG version of the source picture I used. I only posted the PNG version because when I tried uploading the bmp version to the site, it got distorted, so I decided to convert it to PNG to preserve its integrity. In my game, the source files are all bmp...and I have checked them numerous times in Paint and Photoshop and all of the pixels are the same shade. I hope that made sense.

I know the first thing that comes to mind is that I used a Paint Bucket to fill in the areas around my object, and because of anti-aliasing/tolerance levels, some of the colors around the object "blended." However, I used quite a few techniques to make sure this didn't happen. Plus, if you look at my bottom picture and open it up in Photoshop or Paint, you'll notice that every single pink pixel is exactly RGB(255,0,255). At least it is on my computer anyway. My question is: if I'm using the bottom picture as my source, how in the crap are my graphics getting screwed up to looking like the top picture? This doesn't happen with all my graphics, which is the weird thing.
