Hi everyone: So now I have a X file model that does not contain skeleton information but has multiple frames that contain FrameTransformMatrix template data. Each frame has a mesh. When I load this file and render it without taking into account of the FrameTransformMatrix template information, the model shows up but some parts are not fit properly(i.e a leg is in the middle of the stomache). I then mulplies the world matrix to each FrameTransformMatrix when rendering the model, but the model gets screwed up totally this time when showing up(totally unrecognizable). Does anyone know if I need FrameTransformMatrix information? if so, am I doing right multiplying it against the world matrix? anyone knows how to diagnosize this problem? Thanks for help in advance

I haven''t dealt much with the animation system in .x files but perhaps its the order that you multiply your matrices in? Try reversing the order of your world and frame matrix to see if that helps.

Are the frame transforms actually well-formed? Where do you get that data?

You might have to transpose the frame matrices before multiplying them, too, if the x-file exporter does things in row-major order.
