Anybody uses it extensively? I still can''t figure it out why you would use it for video games. It''s said on their website that it has been used for video games. It does create some nice terrain in Yann L-level, but the rendering is slow and...what to do next?

You can use the highmaps it produces to create the terrain in your own game.

You can also generate skymaps with it, or you could just draw them yourself in the time it takes to render them. The problem is, it was written in VB. I really can''t think of a worse choice of language for something like that.

No way, this was written in VB? Wow. Pretty impressive for a VB program. In fact, VERY impressive. Shame it''s written in something a little more performant.

It''s a very good tool to render static stuff, like heightmaps, cloudmaps, background pictures, perhaps even a title screen (in part). Though personally, I''d prefer writing my own routines for heightmap generation and integrating them directly into whatever program I''d use them for, to give myself maximum control over it...
