Windows hard disk problem

There''s a problem: on one of my partitions, windows keeps saying all the time that it has 2.22GB free, while I keep deleting stuff. Even if I delete files of 500MB etc, it keeps saying there''s 2.22GB free. I clean out the recycle bin, I use disk cleanup, etc..., but it keeps insisting there''s 2.22GB free and 25GB used! Is this one of those unreliable indexing "features" from windows going crazy? What can I do to make him show the reality?

Aha! I found it!

It wasn''t microsoft for once, but norton: appearantly norton was making it''s own "protected recycle bin" that was really very invisible.
