music

are you in any way related to frank zappa?

sounds much like frank zappa's free form stuff. i agree that its odd, but i enjoy music that contains *interesting* sounding sounds. the begining sounds like the begining to a pink floyd album.

I hate Modplug :D but the song is kinda cool in a weird, coked up way.

I wrote this yesterday and this today. Apparently I''m only capable of making dance tracks at the moment; I dunno what it is; maybe just all the new instruments I''m sure I''ll come up with something more creative in a day or two.

Thanks! All my other songs had very repetitive patterns and I was tired of that, so I decided to just "go with the flow". I never heard Frank Zappa''s music, I should check that out.
The beginning of the track was probably influenced by Radiohead, specially the Treefingers track. Paul Lansky''s mild und leise comes to mind as well.

Yeah, most of my tracks are dance tracks too. I couldn''t download combat - it asked for a password, but revotron is nice; What program are you using?

MOD music is great. I need to write my own handler for it so I can start putting some together for my games.

combat works fine for me, I dunno what's wrong. I'm using the demo version of FL Studio 4 (possibly gonna buy it on Tuesday). The demo isn't allowed to save projects, so these are one shot compose-and-export deals. Probably also a major cause for the dance track/trance like repetitiveness.

(In case you didn't notice, revotron loops perfectly )
