i''m considering going to full sail for their two year video game development degree. i need to know whether its worth the time and the money and if their diploma means anything in the real world. am i going to work hard for nothing, or will i land a job right away for a decent co?

Working in the industry myself and seeing the resumes and hiring procedures for most companies, the first question I have is do you have a standard degree? Standard meaning a BS or some such degree from an acredited university. If not don't waste you time with fullsail.

I don''t work in the industry, but I think a normal degree would be more credible if you want to get hired. Rainniar''s post seems to verify my thoughts. Besides, while FullSail would probably be pretty fun, I think it would be a lot more useful to major or get a degree in a real subject. You''ll be better rounded and all that good stuff
