What MMORPGs are good these days? Just...you know...wondering what people are playing these days. For the record, I really liked the vassalage system in Asheron''s Call, but I haven''t checked out the sequel... Also for the record, I''m kinda looking for something that won''t get boring in a few months and is [reasonably] cheap. Oh...please don''t flame anybody else here...flame wars are getting to be over the most trivial things...

j/k, I just really wanted to try posting that. Haven''t played any MMORPGs in a long time (like, 2001) and that was just Runescape. I''ve seen FFXI in action, though, and I''d love to get into that. Teh schweet.

I heard about this MMORPG called "#gamedev" or something. Apparently you get to play any character you want, fight battles with other characters, and you can do absolutely anything. It''s mostly like a MUD, but sometimes people get very wrapped up in it, even start to take it seriously.

Ragnarok Online is great because I can cheat at it. Woo! Yay for invincibility hacks, and programs that let me know when and where the next boss monster is going to spawn so I can laugh at stupid noobs like mittens, who shall remain nameless.
