Curiosity strikes me. Also what are your room dimensions... [edited by - Jaevin on April 2, 2004 12:56:06 AM]
"... And what really sickens me? :-) well a company I contacted informed me that they had an audio developer.. they have bio on their website, he graduated in marketing and was the lead programmer, audio really is the side job."
I''ve got the Alesis Monitor1 MkII Actives...

Samson Resolv 65. Great sound but they could do with a protective grille I think. The tweeters have already got little dents in them

Event 20/20 monitors. As for my room... don't get me started! I recently had to temporarily move in with my brother, so I'm in a room with poor acoustics now for a bit. I do love the monitors though. I highly recomend them, if you're looking for something cost-efficient.

If you need affordable monitors I strongly recommend the Jbl LSR25p's. An excellent set with a very smooth top roll-out. The best monitors JBL has probably ever put out. (The 28p's are larger and fuller.) These are my personal monitors.

Also the KRK v6's (the larger are the v8's) are a phenomenal set that use a kevlar cone for accuracy. I hated them when I first heard then 'till I realized I was HEARING more of the music than I was used to. I then realized that the music just sucked.

Lastly the Mackie Hr 624 (hr 824's are the larger) a phenomenal set that really break a major price point. they aren't Genelelec's, but DAMN! they're close.

Good Luck and visit Audio Outpost to win cash and have your music placed into cool projects. www.audiooutpost.com
