I was just wondering...are there any hardcore Led Zeppelin fans on GameDev? I''m obsessed with them. Here comes the Thnikkaman!

Led Zeppelin is the greatest band ever. Period.

I just picked up about 40 bucks worth of Zeppelin vinyl. Led Zeppelin II, IV, Physical Graffiti, and the soundtrack to The Song Remains the Same. All my local record shop had.

They''re good. I like there more srtuctured songs, and I''ve heard their no. 1 - 4. I''m not so much a fan of their live stuff, but Page is a good guitarist. They are definitely not the best classic rock band. I''d say I like the following just as much: The Doors, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Pink Floyd.
Status: Ambitious fool, maybe, with a huge bias for games.

What are the 4 bonus tracks on the 10 disk box set?

Who do you think is a better drummer: John Bonham (from Zep) or Danny Carey(spelling?) (from Tool)? I think they''re both better in different ways.

I went through a LedZeppelin phase about from the ages of 14 to 18 and listened to them so much that I can barely stand to listen to any of their stuff anymore. They are the greatest band evar, but there can be too much of a good thing.

Led Zeppelin is the single greatest band of all time. Well, its either them, or The Beatles, but thats not my point.

Zeppelin is pretty much all I listen to, ever. I work data entry for the Postal Service, so I get to listen to about 25 hours of Zeppelin every week, and that''s not including to how much I listen to them in the car, or when I''m running on my treadmill an hour a day (I alternate between TSRTS or their newer DVDs).

I absolutely adore their Live stuff, thats what the band was all about! Not to say that they weren''t amazing studio artists--Page is probably the most brilliant studio musician I''ve ever seen. But honestly, I''ve never seen any other band able to perform 15-20+ minute songs (I''ve heard a 40+ minute Dazed & Confused performance!) and still make it not only interesting, but profoundly interesting!

The thing about Zeppelin is that each of the members were the best at what they did. (IMO), Page is one of the greatest guitarists ever, JPJ is an amazing bass player and one of the greatest arrangers in modern music, Bonham is no doubt the greatest rock drummer of all time (Moon was great too, but not quite as good as Bonzo), and Plant''s absolutely beautiful voice was perfect for their music, and he had such a wide range both musically and stylistically.

I think the songs are: Travelling Riverside Blues, Baby Come on Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, and maybe Jennings Farm Blues (I can''t remember which of the songs are on the original Coda album and which ones were added later )

I''ll have to find some of my old covers I did of some zep songs and upload them if they''re any good (I did them about 7 years ago, only like a year or two after I started playing guitar. I don''t remember if they were any good or not, lol). Otherwise maybe I''ll record some new ones and see if I can piece something together

I liked them until I moved to Austin. The radio stations here play them everday. I just can''t stand his moaning and screaming anymore.

I love the music.

I used to be obsessed with Dave Matthews Band, but I''m growing sick of them due to my over-exposure... I''m making sure that doesn''t happen with Led Zeppeling because they''re too good and that would be a shame.

I saw their DVD after I had heard and loved the music and was actually disappointed. Plant is too much of a egotist for me... I loose respect for people that act the way he did on stage. I still love the music and the DVDs, I just avoid paying attention to him when watching the band perform.

Paige is my favorite guitarist, bonom (sp?) is the most amazing drummer... well Carter Beuford for DMB is also amazing... different styles tho so its hard to compare

I love the music.

my favorite zep song (and problably everyone''s) is stairway. But only in studio--the live ones are great, but the studio recording was just SO much better.

Stairway sucks. I hated it before I started listening to Zeppelin, and I put up with it now. Cashmir is a much better song. But their best is either the Viking song or "Fool in the Rain."

By "The Viking Song" I assume you mean "Immigrant Song."

The Battle of Evermore is among my favorites. Heart did a cover of that that was really pretty fantastic.

I''m not sure, that''s why it wasn''t quoted. That''s probably the one I mean, its prety obvious. There''s a flash movie staring cats somewhere, its cute.
