Well it took around five years to do it, but I have finally passed the 1000 post mark. Good for me. Someone gimme a cookies. And a link to and archived copy of Stop the Goblin Genocide, I need to reminice. Whatever happend to Landfish? [edited by - Reaptide on April 21, 2004 1:55:35 AM]

anyway, I had almost forgotten about Goblin Genocide. I was actually suprised to see myself listed as a contributor to Chris Barry's paper on the topic.

Maybe it''s time to create a set of conventions for this sort of thing. That way we can all standardize the use of programming symbols in improper English. It would save us a lot of trouble...

Chess is played by three people. Two people play the game; the third provides moral support for the pawns. The object of the game is to kill your opponent by flinging captured pieces at his head. Since the only piece that can be killed is a pawn, the two armies agree to meet in a pawn-infested area (or even a pawn shop) and kill as many pawns as possible in the crossfire. If the game goes on for an hour, one player may legally attempt to gouge out the other

It doesn''t - just as in "(A == B)," A and B are not booleans. It''s the == or != operator that does it.
