Men, i''m doing my final project for my university and i''m very low on production.
I can spend my days not doing nothing, in spite of comming to the university every day. I start to see my mail, surfing the web, browsing gamedev, wondering arround, playing chess, and my project keeps falling behind.
Anyone had some similar experience on this?
Point gamedev''s DNS entry somewhere else. Works every time.
I''ve got some tips, but I''m pretty swamped. I''ll fill you in tomorrow sometime. Or the day after.

About time someone got around to posting a reply like that.
I''m procrastinating on a school assignment. I have to answer a lot of questions about a book. So far I have 1,440 words, and I''ll probably quintuple it by the time I''m done.
I was going to procrastinate today, but I figured it could wait till tomorro.
I have one paper that is 3 weeks late and another that is 1 week late, and yet another due in a week... I have yet to start any of them. I think I have the same problem, just much worse.
I''m WAY too busy doing nothing to reply to this thread...
It''s the same all over the world. Students everywhere have assloads of papers to hand in, and we''re all too busy surfing the web, or looking out of the window.
I mean, shit man, looking out of the window isn''t something that can be picked up quickly. It takes practise...

Its pretty funny actually, im part of an ''honours'' group at college and like 2/3 of the class are like that. People that are ''smarter'' (I use the term very loosely), often work a lot less to achieve a better result. With all the bad habits from high school of not doing anything, most of us relie on pure talent to make it through, and every day before we have to give in projects, almost the whole class is on Messenger till about 2-3 in the morning... I don''t know about you, but we usually get it done...
