Let me tell you about some of Firefox''s advanced features, like clicking on the back button but it won''t go back a page, or when you are filling out forms on a webpage and the submit button doesn''t click. Its these kinds of features that make Firefox so great.

I actually thought for a second IE could have been the cause for GDNet''s low response time, but I guess its either my connection or the server. Anyway, this thing just seems like more of a hassle than a benefit...I''ll continue using it for a few more hours and I may just uninstall it.

I''ve never had a single problem with Firefox. I love it.

I installed firefox and I don''t know why!
Tabs and pop-up blocking.
Actually I didn''t know firefox had either of those until SHilbert told me...which was after I installed it. Other than that, its like IE, but not IE.
What''s kind of sad is that I get enough confirmation boxes to make up for all the popup blocking. And none of the boxes have a check box with "don''t display again"

I thought they didn''t display again by default.
And of course it''s got a lot in common with IE; they''re both web browswer, you blockhead.
But what few features Firefox has makes a world of difference IMHO. I''ve had to use IE a few times when I haven''t had access to FireBird/Fox, and that only serves to remind me that I''d rather chew broken glass.

Middle click on links to open tabs. Much better interface for webbrowsing than manipulating multiple windows. Plus, it''s only one click as opposed to right-clicking then picking a context menu choice. Doesn''t sound like a big deal, but it makes the web browsing interface much more streamlined and easy.

The only ones I remember are the ones which tell you that popups are being blocked for the first time and the one that lets you know that putting information in forms is sent over the internet (gasp!). Not having to close popups all the time is great and I can''t even remember what it was like before.

Eh, when exactly is it you get those??
I know it has some´confirmation boxes, but I''m pretty damn sure I haven''t seen any for quite a while..

/me loads up the XML an XSL that I made yesterday that IE can''t render (properly)
And yes, it was standards compliant.

Firefox isn''t all its cracked up to be. Its pretty good but still has its share of issues that need to be resolved.
and people accuse me of not being original >_<

So yeah...so far this is almost exaclty like IE. Except for minor stuff that isn''t really worth the extra 10mb I wasted on my HD. Unless I find something good by the end of the day I''m trashing this program and never cheating on my browser again.
