Hey everyone, Today was the end of the 3rd quarter at my school. I got 2 F''s on my progress report. My mom kicked me off my computer and said that i cant go on it again (i dont know how long this will be for) so now im at the public library on their computers adn it really blows because they have like windows embedded 2003 on them adn i cant do anyhting exept for use Word and IE. I am using AIM express to talk to people, but I woud like to get on my msn messanger account too. Out of curiosity, what were the 2 classes you failed?

If you say English and Social-something, you shall be rewarded.

I failed science and history. Great fun, now all i gotta do is work on getting those to at least "D"s so that I dont have to repeat my sophmore year in in High school or so that i dont have to take summer school, that was a bitch last year

Yes indeed, major pwnage! I guess my only response to the op is I don''t think this is really the time to worry about AIM and crap like that. Maybe you need to spend more time doing work.

How about um, doing work?

I had two D''s on my progress report in sophomore year high school. My mom kicked me off the computer. I actually started to learn shit in school and I somehow turned a D into an A. Now I''m a freshman in college, 4.0 gpa so far, and if I can keep it above a 3.5 the tuition is free (full ride scholarship rocks).

Seriously, find something else other than the computer. I didn''t even do homework after I was kicked off, but the distraction was gone. Find something funner than posting in an online forum.

No, it''s a trap. I did that, and then my parents sais that the lack of computer helped and decided to not let me have a personal computer for the rest of my high-school career. I would suggest getting some marks back, and then discussing "priviledges" with them.

History is pure memorization. As for science, when I was a sophomore, it was biology. Biology is also pure memorization (at least early on, like in high school). So I''m guessing your problem is memorizing stuff. I too hate that more than anything, but just do the work and study and you''ll get, with near-minimum effort, a C.

To the OP: It''s not that hard. It doesn''t matter if you have to work for 48 hours straight, living on cat-naps, Mountain Dew, and frozen burritos. Get to work.

So your parents said no computer, SO?! Big deal, as if they can stop you using the computer. Not only have I bought more than 50% of my computer with my hard earned money, but I''m also the administrator of my mother computer and if she tries not to let me use my computer (impossible, chance of success 0%), there is no more tech support for her.
