Coder looking for Team/Project

I am a professional software developer looking to work on a game project with a group of people in my spare time (all for fun of course). I have 8 years work experience with C/C++ (generally in embedded systems) and 2 with C#/Java (standard business apps). I am interested in any type of game/genre, but my preferences lean toward racing and fps shooter type games. I have messed around with OpenGL and DirectX and understand the basics of 2D and 3D graphics. I am no John Carmack(sp?) but I can spin a nicely shaded cube with the best of them. :-) If you think that I may be able to help your team/project or if you just have some questions for me, feel free to fire off an email to chadheim@earthlink.net or just reply here.
