First off thanks for even getting started to read! Is it possible to make Flash work with databases? and if so, how could I do it? I want a chat sysetem made out of Flash. I can do everything but make it do the database stuff *sigh*, which means as of right now it''s worth nothing at all. If anyone could point me in the right direction I''d be grateful. Thanks!

Yes it is possible.

There''s an Actionscript command called ''loadVariables'' which requests a web page and on that web page you have to have output any data from the database that you want to load into the Flash movie.

You can also send data from the Flash to movie using the same command.
