Hi. I would guess this is totally spam.. (the board said this is the place to do it).. but it is a question/quest about programming gaming and otherwise...
I am actually looking for a programmer who can do php/asp database type programs to be set up for the web... Now, within this program, there are spots for (I guess its called) jave games (small interactive games, pretty easy even with predetermined outcomes)...
What are some suggestions of where to find good programmers to work with (here? but, its not just for gaming development)? Here''s the clincher showing I want my cake and to eat it too, lol...One willing to work for cheap or some sort of business deal? (My sad story, lol.. I''ve been working on this for over a year now... worked with 5 programmers where all but one was overseas because of the lower prices. Course, maybe you get what you pay for, but none delivered anything and 2 took my "payment up front" and never refunded it... all took atleast a month or so to say they could no longer work on the project, when surely they new early on if not rigt away).
I wondered if I could barter (course I don''t have the same awesome skills), atleast for the upfront payment, because I don''t trust upfront payments now, and plus, my budget has taken a blow because of this. I am wondering where to hire a decent to good (great is fine, too) who might be willing to work out a longer term deal with me... or, for this matter, since I am "spamming" this board to ask, where might I find some decent programmers, period... and I can narrow it down from there...
Well, if no one has a clue, thats totally fine.. I just wondered if I might find my answer.. and I keep looking. If you have any clues, suggestions or know anything for sure.. I would be so greatful!
