http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/05/10/news_6096249.html one might say: its on the internet so it must be true, but its on google news so it has atleast some credibility this time. they are supposed to be on E3, so iguess its not a hoax at all. har, then to think i personally flamed the guy not too long ago because i though it was all bullshit. anyway, that stil leaves open the question if it actually is any good for a gamer, it sure is pricy, but it does sound like a good thing for the indy developper, so as a gamedev community i guess we should be happy. [EDIT]
I saw an article about it in PCGamer this morning. Don't know much about it but seems like a good idea, for those console freaks who don't know what a start button is.

Didn''t the "Phantom" company (ha, clever pun intended) once show up at E3 before as well? I''m pretty sure they did.

Either way, there''s this long article/investigation made by some guy who tries to find Phantom''s headquarters, and it''s truely funny and very informative.

I doubt anything and everything behind that system.

well, it did remind me of why i thought he was nothing but an asshole and flamed him, so theres one use.

maybe he has changed though. in retrospect, the image i saw today was probably a computer render aswell, so there again goes some of his credibility.

one things for sure though: if he is a liar, hes damned good at it by making the google frontpage.

Yes, they did. The console was unplugged and out of reach. They invited some small time people up (read: easily suckered) to see it in their hotel room - the demo consisted of them turning on the 20 pound luggage size console and showing them a menu screen. Obviously they have redesigned the case so that it isn''t just a mid tower turned on its side anymore.
