ok, i've been trying to mess around with making a website for a friend of mine. what i'm trying to do is make a page that instead of opening the default email program on the client's computer, i'm just trying to let them enter their information on a webpage and submit it to my friend's email account. what i'm having trouble with is the "<form ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" action="/cgi-bin/gx.cgi/AppLogic+MobNewMsg" method="POST">" part. that whole last part i got from the website where you can compose an email on the bellsouth.net server. Here's the url where i got the source from "http://webmail.bellsouth.net/cgi-bin/gx.cgi/AppLogic+MobNewMsg?". He doesn't have his own mail server, he's wanting to use his email account that he has with bellsouth (that's also his ISP). is this possible or do you have to have an email server of your own? Here's the entire webpage that i'm working on for him:
