I want to know how to open and run an application from within my program. Basically I just want to create a window with a bunch of "links" to other applications and run those applications when clicked.
I AM an Army of One... I just have 10,000 other Armies of One to back me up!

If you''re talking about managed assemblies, I suppose you could use the Assembly class to load the assembly and then execute the main method, but I''m new to this whole .NET thing so I''m not sure how you''d spawn another assembly here :/

There are a lot of ways to do this. Off the top of my head, you could use AppDomain.ExecuteAssembly() if it''s an assembly, use interop to call ShellExecute() or one of it''s related functions, Microsoft.VisualBasic.Shell(), or System.Diagnostics.Process.Start().

Ah, as expected it had the word "Shell" in it :D

Remember that a bunch of the VB.NET stuff is really just wrappers around the regular framework stuff to maintain compatibility with the VB6 way of doing things. I would suggest moving to the standard Process.Start way of doing things as that is the method you would use if you moved to another .NET language.
