Freespace

There are two games and an expansion pack for each. Unfortunately, the chances for another game are virtually non-existant. Interplay owns the license, and they seem to have zero intention of commisioning another. I suppose when Interplay finally goes bust there might be a chance.

Volition still owns the code though, so you can''t sell any game you make with it.

However, considering that the Freespace 2 source has been released under a "no commercial explotation" license, nothing stops you making your own missions packs and/or mods.

I bought them a while back because all the nice things I''d heard about them but I haven''t really taken the time to get into them. Freespace is sitting in my pile of games I had to buy but have yet to actualy play. My friend called be a game whore once becase I have to get my hands on as many games as I can, but I only take them on one or two quick rides before I move on. Eventualy I get going on one but I''m way behind.
