Hi everyone. I''m busy tring to evaluate "cheap" 3d modellers for a game I''m wanting to create with an artist friend of mine, and gameSpace seems to meet my requirements better than any other I''ve tried yet (I''m using the 1.1 demo right now). I would like to write a plugin to export my scene directly into my own file format. The gameSpace web page says "Access the gameSpace API, to write plug-ins", but I haven''t found anything about such an API anywhere (extensive Google searches haven''t turned up anything useful). The web page does have a download of a "trueSpace API", but that is their higher end modeller and I don''t know whether that''s the API I must use. Does anyone here have any experience with gameSpace plugin development, or can point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

Yes, the trueSpace API works just fine. Some functions may (or may not ) be disabled but these should be fairly obvious. I've written a few small plugins for my personal endeavors. Just look at the examples that come with the API and you'll be fine. You might also try asking in the gameSpace forums.

Thanks for the reply, I was starting to think that maybe the API hadn''t been released yet or something. I''ll get the trueSpace API and check it out.
