You prevent anonymous posters from posting in certain forums, why can''t you also prevent anonymous posters from replying in threads that are more than 8 weeks old? (Just APs) Should be like 2 lines of whatever language you have these things written in, and it means for every necro, there''s a person to hold accountable.

Actually anonymous posts are easier to track. You can''t delete an anonymous post, where as a regular post can be deleted so we have to go digging through deletion logs.

The new forums use a better and more flexible anti-necro mechanism anyway.

That''s really the intentional necros, which banning sounds good for.

I''m saying just as a stopgap measure to prevent accidental necros from AP coming off of google.
