Hi all,
I''ve coded my own class with winsockets, but it uses tcp/ip (i think), so I would like to develop an UDP alternative.
I think I understand the basic diferences, like, in UDP, packets might not arrive at the server in the order they where expected, etc... but, their strong side is that they are more light-weight, and "travel faster"....
Can anyone point me to some UDP tutorials and resources that have helped you?
I would also like a book on the subject, something introductory, not mega-heavyweight....
Thanks
