Speedball

Oh my god. How come I haven''t heard a single word?

Speedball (II) was the ultimate sportsgame. I always wanted to make something similar but realized that it was too much for me (particularly good graphics and others players AIs). Today it has to be done in 3D, there''s really no point in doing 2D game like that.

That would almost be a reason good enough to buy Playstation...
But then again, it might turn out to be like all the other todays teamsport games. On the other hand, was Speedball any different? It was just the best.

speed ball? is not a game that is like soccer but is with ships instead of people? if was it was lauched a lot of time ago

So. i was there in the middle of a lot of witches and mages, when she come to me:
-You are too young to be a mage.
-No, i´m not a mage, i´m a programmer.
-How! Sorry... what a bad luck.
-Yeah... Don´t even talk about it...

Ah yes, i was corrected, it was speedball 2 that i was talking about. For those who don''t know it was like the movie Rollerball but it was played on a metal field instead of a rink. Violence was a key part of the game.

There was another game like this i played once, i think it was called Knights Football or something like that. People would loose there heads in the game and because the ball was the same size as a head, sometimes you''d pick up a head thinking that it''s a ball and kick it. It was quite funny at times when the computer would make the same mistake and you''d see 2 balls flying through the air and didn''t know which one to go for.

I love Game Design and it loves me back.

Our Goal is "Fun"!

I absolutely loved that game, and I think that I was pretty damn good at it.

As for the new PSX version, well I think it should be coming out fairly soon, have you tried a web search for it?
And I''ll definately be getting it for my playstation.

I actually got another game that is very similar to it for my playstation, but I can''t remember what its called. But it is an awesome game aswell, and this is in 3D, although its a bit harder than SB2 was.
