You''ve all noticed how on GameDev message boards, in the Help Wanted section, people are always, always demanding artists. Artist needed! Artist needed! Why is it, do you think...nobody ever gets many replies, at all, from these posts? Is it, perhaps, that there are so many more programmers than artists? Is it, perhaps, that all the artists are already taken? Do artists just really shun newbie programmers and doomed projects, which CAN be frequently found in the Help Wanted section? Maybe there are artists out there, but they don''t care for GameDev.net? Where can I find artists? There, that''s the discussion part. Sorry, I have to tag this on my post too. I know there are tons of postings on this board about people looking for artists.....but here''s another one on top of the pile. We''re looking for one (1) additional sprite artist to boost artwork output on our current project, Hostile Quadrant...a 2D side-scroller/space type game....the original you vs. alien type of game.
