I'm baaaack

First off, I must apologize for not keeping a closer eye on the forums lately. Truth to tell, my real life has been keeping me too busy, what with school starting again, purchasing a house, writing a book, and being in crunch mode at work. At least I''m happy to say that in my absense, everyone has been very responsible and avoided making excessive numbers of crap posts. Yeah, right. I''m going to be watching the Lounge and laying the smack down more than ever. I''m also going to be looking for someone to help moderate, since there are probably more posts now than one person can keep an eye on. I''m in the process of making some changes to the forums as well. Most of the changes will be cosmetic. I''m trying to remove some bugs in the process, but that''s not my main objective. One of the changes I''m making that will interest everyone is that I''m removing rankings. In fact, I''m going to remove the post count from people''s profiles as well, and remove the most active posters list as well. This is not open for debate. The rankings were fun for a while, but they have now become more of a headache than anything. I''m done dealing with it. I can''t give an ETA on when the changes will take place. I can''t see myself becoming any less busy anytime soon, but I''ll try to get it done sooner than later.
