Hi everyone,
I''ve a question for the real professionalists, so if you are a newbie in DirectX Media (or DirectShow) programming do not read this message.
The problem seems like that: I''m creating an application that plays the movies. In order to do it I''m using the IAMMultiMediaStream interface to create the filter graph that plays the media file. Und hier liegt der Hund begraben, like the German say. I need to read media data from another source: let say the content of file is saved in a storage file (a.k.a DocFile, you know, that one can be accessed via IStorage and IStream interfaces). And my question is how to do it? IAMMultiMediaStream provides a method called OpenMoniker(...) that can probably solve my problem, but in order to use it I have to create a moniker pointing to the IStream with the content. Unfortunatley, I don''t know how to do it.
So, have you any idea how to solve that problem? Maybe there is another solution I am not aware of? Let me know as soon as possible. This case is quite urgent, so please feel free to inform me anytime.
Regards,
Maciej Stachurski
