As far as I know, the whole deal with Flipcode is they don''t *want* to get together and get along. From what I know, a while back when Gamedev.net just started it was the collaboration of all the major game dev sites before then except for flipcode, which didn''t join.

I love gamedev and flipcode. It''s unfair to say flipcode is against gamedev simply because they do not want to join up with them. It''s all good.

I was under the impression that we were "allied" with Flipcode.

It was part of my master plan that if the mods kicked me out GDNet, I''d move to Flipcode and share my madness with them.

Some of us (me ) sometimes joke about it, but I don''t think there is any bad blood between gamedev.net and flipcode. Really, both are fine sites and you''ll be missing out on a lot if you only view one or the other.

well, they might have some competition together. but for sure it''s a freindly competition. not like microsoft/netscape competion (they weren''t equal powers anyways, but gamedev and flipcode are like equal powers)

You can tell all them people registered at flipcode to go to hell because they suck...wait. No. I''m registered there also.
