Hi, I have a two simple questions since i am new to OpenGL. (but not to Direct 3D). 1. There is an OpenGL implementation shipping with the MSVC 6.0 compiler. Can i use this version for developing games or is it too slow or is there something else missing ? 2. If i can use the MSVC implementation of OpenGL, how do i achieve (configure) hardwareacceleration on a Vooodo2 card. What steps do i have to proceed ? Thanx in advance. cu Peter

Write you ogl code as usually and them you must put an ogl miniport (quake1/2/3 minigl, mesa, etc) inside your program folder and renamed to OpenGL32.dll. Also, You can get ogl functions dinamically. If you want to know more about it, go to Druid''s page. Remember, 3Dfx Ogl implementation is very problematic!!!!

I suggest you don''t use the OGl version that comes with MVC6 cuz it''s too old.
