My DirectX Based game (not MFC based) needs an extra thread, but I had no idea what functions I needed to use to create the extra thread, so I searched the VStudio Help files and found two ways to do it, using afxBeginThread, or CreateThread and its co-functions. CreateThread requires more function calls and is more complicated, so I decided to use afxBeginThread since it does most of the work for you. I followed the examples and #included stdafx.h and process.h, but when I compiled it, it couldnt find stdafx.h. So I searched for the file and found many different copies from various folders containing source code from various sources on the web (not source included with VC). This got me wandering...Do I have to create my own stdafx.h? Does every app using afx functions need their own stdafx.h file? Sould I just use CreateThread to avoid afx hassles? I have NO idea how to go about it, can someone help me? Thanks.
