I'm not too good with html and other internet languages. I recently downloaded some code for a sliding out menu on my main page. All i want to do is open a new window for the forum when someone clicks forum on the menu. This is probabily easy to solve but im not too good with html. Here's the code for the links on the menu:

<!-- Begin
var siteName = new Array();
var siteLink = new Array();
siteName[0] = "·  Forum";
siteName[1] = "·  Gallery";
siteName[2] = "·  Links";
siteName[3] = "·  News";
siteName[4] = "·  Bodiger Games";
siteLink[0] = "http://www26.brinkster.com/bodiger/forum/default.asp"; //I think it has something to do with this line
siteLink[1] = "http://aa.1asphost.com/Bodiger/Gallery_1.htm";
siteLink[2] = "http://aa.1asphost.com/Bodiger/links.htm";
siteLink[3] = "http://aa.1asphost.com/Bodiger/News_1.htm";
siteLink[4] = "http://aa.1asphost.com/Bodiger/miniclip_games-non_forum.htm";
for (i = 0; i <= siteName.length - 1; i++)
document.write('' + siteName + '
'); // End -->
I'm almost sure that i have to edit something on the 'sitelink[0]' line. cheers

No, sorry, i can't get either of them to work.

Tommy Carlier, the menu is replaced by non-clickable links that contain the entire address.

Pipo DeClown, I just get errors and no links. I think that both the link and the link text of the menu have to be defined seperatly in sitename[] and sitelink[].

I'm not sure if it will be possible...

Thanks anyway.[smile]

What is it doing the way it is now? It looks like it should open the new page in the same window, as it.

The code change by Tommy Carlier looks the most correct.

Try replacing the '·' character you use in your names to the HTML character code. It could be that it's a non-standard character and is breaking your code.

Also, what context have you placed that script within?

If it's in between other anchor tags it won't work.

It technically works fine but their is one problem. Whent the forum is accessed from this menu and opened in the same window members cannot log-in. I think this is because of the url at the top. It stays at bodiger.tk. But if this is opened in a seperate window it works fine. That's why i have to open it in a seperate window from the menu.
