Hey Everyone, I just got the DX7 SDK, and I''ve run into a problem. I try to compile something using the D3D IM Framework, and I get (literally) 100 errors. Is this a common problem? I believe that I''ve done everything right. I tried to compile a couple of the IM tutorials on GameDev, but came up with the errors, and then tried to compile the .x file loading sample, but again, got 100 errors. Any help would be appreciated. -Jesse

make sure you include the headers in the project, and include the libs
go to tools, options, directories or something, and put in the right directorys for the dx headers and libs
and go to project -> settings and put the d3d libs at the front of the line
if it still dont work copy the DX7 libs to your compiler directory\lib, and the headers to \include

If the earlier does not work then start posting what type of errors they are...if it says undefined type the earlier should work...if you have already added in the (.h)s and the (.lib)s then move the msnsdk (I think that is the name of it) folder to the top of list. If all that fails email me!

mssdk or dx7sdk folder should be at the top of the list. That is c:\%mssdk%\lib and c:\%mssdk%\include should be at the top of the lists respectively. Replace %mssdk% with the directory the DirectX sdk is installed in.
