Pleas help I am trying to do Accurate Collision detection between 2 OOBB. At first i thought i could just test the points of each box against the Planes of the other and Vice Versa but i have since come to realize that two boxes can infact have a collision even if all the points of each box are outside the other. For example, Draw a cross and imagine the two rectangles as two boxes. None of the vertices of any cube or inside all of the other ones planes. anyone got any ideas on how to do this

Dude I posted a million questions about this and then I found a site with example code that did it for you.

Not AABB but OOBB!

It may be on my system at home. I don''t know.
Do a search on here and see if you come up with anything.
Previous messages etc.

I''ll check at home Sunday.

Here is the link.
magic-software.com

I am working on cutting this code down to size and documenting it and rewriting it to use the D3DTypes.h types.

Should be really slick then.
