Hi, I was hoping someone could tell me some words to google for or some info on how to go about managing a scene. I'm trying to make a modeller but i dont have a clue how all the objects are added, manipulated and remove from a database. So far i have come across the words "scene graph" Am i on the right track? Any info would be great, Thanks :)

Yes, what you're looking for is called a scene graph. Personally, I learned from a book called "3D game engine design". They have a section on scene graph management. There may be some good free resources or tutorials, but if there are I can't speak for any. I know there's some good info buried in these forums on scene graph management though. I refered to some of it when designing my own one. Unfortunately, the forum search is not available right now. I'd suggest hunting around a bit in the resources section of this site, and googling a bit more.

"Search is temporarily disabled.
In the meantime, you can use Google search to search GameDev.net.
