Talking Ad

Original Post
I've been getting this talking ad in the banner at the top of the screen every once and a while. I didn't thnik to write what the ad was for, but it's annoying/scaring me when it comes up. I don't know if this has been reported before, but it's new to me. It's appearing in Firefox and IE. What would be really nice is for it to be removed, but for the time being, is there a way to disable sounds from websites in Firefox? Edit: I'm not on my computer at the moment, so I can't see Firefox. The main purpose of the thread was to let people know about the ad, so if the solution to the sound thing is ridiculously easy, please forgive me for asking.

Have you tried the adblock extension? When it comes up, click the Adblock link at the bottom-left of the browser and it'll list all page objects. It should be fairly easy to find the offending object, which is probably a Flash animation or something similar.
Thanks! I'll try that out as soon as I get home. In fact, I may already have the extention installed...
Yeah, the one that talked when you moved over it was annoying, but this one talks on its own. Very irritating; I get it quite a bit.
What? Computers have sound?
