Pranked a couple houses in a nearby city.

Came back from the firefighter clambake, logged onto Star Wars Galaxies to make the most of my 14-day trial (even though the game sucks so far compared to good old EQ).

I worked out my schedule for the next two years. Well, rather figured all the classes I would need to take to finish up my undergrad program. I'm still debating between Political Science and some audio classes or Political Science with Honors and no audio classes. So a bit stressful tonight, unnecessary but fun at the same time.

I fixed my car (installed a new hood and driver's side quarter panel that my dad wrecked up a long time ago), saving over 1000 dollars of repair.

Then I emerge'd kde on my gentoo installation, which took way the hell longer than it should, It just kept downloading and compiling.

Let's see. Went to the grocery store (see other thread), grilled a couple hotdogs, ate em, drank a few beers, listened to some tunes, watched a ton of Strong Bad cartoons, tooled around on gamedev. That's about it I think.

I did that last week, Mulligan. Yesterday I... took care of someones dog, beat Zelda OoT, played in a community band and watched a movie (The Postman. SO much better than the book was!). Didn't get here until Sunday, so I guess that was about it.

Spent the day at SeaWorld. Now I'm just clearing out email and getting a couple pages of my book written before I let myself get some sleep.

Took a three 1/2 hour bike ride into central Austin with my wife. On that tour, I replaced another old Queen tape with a CD version, drank an expensive beer and had some awesome nachos. We also walked across the street and looked at some art street vendors, and was confused why their small oil panting of a pear costed 20.

Came home, finished finally porting some old code to DX9. Talked about some interNEKO projects, watched Cowboy Beebop, Trigun (which I don't like), then Iron Chef, and am now writing on these boards.

Finished Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, wrote some stuff about camera systems in games, tried to create a formal ruleset for Monkey Island Insult Arena (with scoring, winners/losers and stuff), and did some work on the GDNet forum software.

Read through the Ars Magica "Faerie Stories" sourcebook I had just bought, as well as "Covenants" by Lorna Freeman.

Then I realized it was Sunday morning.

Woke up at 8am in a still-drunken stupor from the previous night. Dragged myself and three friends into my car to get breakfast at a diner. Went home, passed out for 5 hours. Woke up, headed to another friend's barbeque for a while. Came home, saw 4 messages asking me to go to another party. I deleted all four of them.

Let's see.

Cooked myself some trout. Did my laundry,and while that was going on I went for a walk. Came back took a shower. Posted on Gamedev some. Read up on PCI Express and BTX form factor. Came up with some ideas for a book I'd like to write (now that I actually have some free time). Read up on secret societies/conspiracies (for said book).

Then I went to bed at like 1am.

Went to see Anchorman, it was great. Dropped her off and then another friend came over and we watched tv till like 11, got bored, went to waffle house, came back and sat around listening to music for a while. This morning I went downstairs to eat cereal then worked out and then showered. Exciting huh ;)

I drew pictures of naked ladies.
Then I played more of my Half-Life single player game (on medium with NO crosshairs, its might hard)
Watched pr0n, but lost interest.
Went upstairs and read Brian Greene's "Fabric of the Cosmos"
Attempted, from my bed side, to cut two slits in a piece of paper and hold it next to a light to prove the light-wave theory. It didnt work out, I need a laser and a tiny piece of 35mm film.
Lectured my brother how WWII almost started in 1938 with the crises over the sudetenland.
Couldnt fall asleep, so i tried self meditation. That didnt work so i just stayed in bed and was bored.

woke up at 4:30pm, had breakfast and shower, went to mates house for stage 2 of our yearly BBQ (but without the BBQ this week). Drank vodka and listened to loud music, accused the new people next door of being lesbians in a loud voice, nearly fell off his garage roof getting a ball back, juggled a glass and ended up covered in vodka and orange.
some time during all of that ate a pizza.
drank more.
watched porn and commented on the bad quality of UK porn.
drank more.
watched more porn with above comments, watched a film while drinking more.
came home @ around 3am.

Did some laundry, went shopping for a spa, bought one, had it delivered and played Poker and Rummikub with friends until 1AM when they eventually left, I didn't win once.
